Number Bond is the new method in teaching mathematics to kids in the primary school in SG. Eg: 25 = 10 + 10 + 5.

The journal reads: I bought this bag cos it's spacious & cheap. With spacious, I know it's convenient to place bulky things in it. So I went off and bought these 3 novels. But where do I get the time to read them??!!!

My A to Z Mini Album (A)

A few mummies (or rather 2 mummies) from the forum are doing up a A to Z album for their kids. As I'm trying to brainstorm for LOs, it occured to me why dun I do one for myself, what with me just turned 30yo. So I'll start from here and see what I can come up with.

With that, ideas & inspirations just popped into my pea-brain non-stop. And this is what I came up with for the 1st letter of the alphabet "A". And what a coincidence was tat my name starts with "A" too. Kool!

2. First Date ?
When I was 15yo, I got to know this normal-stream guy from a girl whom I knew from my holiday-job in Cold Storage. He was her classmate. We went to East Coast Park. YIKESSS!!!! Tat memory was hideous. Cos I was still wearing my specky. So leychey (aka troublesome) when going swimming. Bwahahahahahah!!!!

3. First Time You Fell in Love
When I was 19yo with a 25yo married man whom I met at work. Again … *giggles* It was a forbidden love from afar. *zipped lips*

4. First Time You Cooked For Someone?
When I was 20yo and it was for my ex-hubby. I cooked a super duper simple dish – stir-fried eggs. :-P

5. First Time You Got on a Plane?
Again, when I was 20yo and with my ex-hubby plus ex-MIL. 3 of us took a plane to KL where we went on F&E to KL, Penang and JB.

6. First Time Shave Your Legs

7. First Time You Put on Make Up?
When I was 16yo and it was the graduation nite for the Secondary 4s.

8. First Time You Moved Out of Your House?
When I was 19yo and into my ex-hubby’s 3-rm HDB flat.

Oh this is easy. September 2005.

10. First Time You Travel?
The earliest one I remembered was to Desaru at 8 or 9yo, with my family (mum, dad, younger bro & me).

I. NEED. A. WHITE. PEN/MRKER. Look at those water droplets. Do they look like water droplets to you??!!! That's why! *smack forehead* But I'm still unable to find the white pen recommended by the srappers in the forum. URGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Altho I won't be paper-scrapping regular, hv'g s GOOD white pen will be useful too.

N'mind. I'm going out to run some errands for the Empress Dowager. So will go scout ard some more. Keeping me fingers crossed.

The Specky

This is another paper-LO. I find it a tad too over-crowded at the top right corner. I'm supposed to write with my newly-bot ZIG marker. But it didn't turn out the way I expected. Then I shud've used black for the 2nd half of the title. Then it'll be striking. Maybe I'll change it. Maybe not.

Oh ... this was me at age 13 ... kekekekek ...

Did You Call Me !!??!!

I'm trying my hands at paper-scrap again. But this time, I'm smarter by doing a small-sized LO = 4x6. And whola!! An excellento!! LOL !!!!! I'm also trying my hands at doodling but I failed miserably. LOL !!!! And I used Jnr's magic pens for the doodling which brightens up the whole LO. Kool! But I made a mistake.Instead of doing the green doodling, I shud hv written the location where this pic was taken = Singapore Science Centre.

This is what you call a 3-min LO = plenty of mistakes :o)

My 1st paper scrap LO ... which is super big = 9x9. LOL!!!

This was done for the forum's No-Adhesives Challenge. Meaning, we cannot use the glue tape & dot glues to paste the embellishments. And I love how I "glued" the ribbons to the LO. Super innovative manz, Agnes!!!! Kool !!!

Poo Poo

The journal reads:
At 1st, we were all puzzled by that weird expression on your face. It only dawned on us what was going on when we saw that lil poo coming out from your buttocks. Your very 1st poo since you were born !!!

Unforunately I didn't snap a pic of your poo.

Money Money Money

The journal reads:
Yesterday (4/1/06) was the 1st time you saved some of your pocket money. You saved 10 cents. So I told you by saving your pocket money, you will be able to buy yourself a treat at the end of the week. A treat such as your "beetle" card from the arcade and some small-sized action-figure toys.

Today (5/1/06), you saved another 50 cents. To which I was pleasantly shocked. But I'm glad & proud of you. Glad cos you took my suggestions to heart. Proud cos you had saved so much. Grandma must be either too proud of you or too anxious ... that she took out my Ultraman piggy bank to be used as YOUR piggy bank.

Well .. I hope that you're not like me - always having those 3-min thingy. And thus continue with your savings. And I also hope that this is the correct method to teach you the importance of money and the power of savings.
